Security guard shot dead by fellow guard in Cebu City
CEBU CITY – An 18-year-old security guard was shot dead by his co-worker following a heated argument past 10 a.m. on Christmas Eve.
The fatality was identified as Romy Biasa, 18, who suffered a bullet wound on his upper body.
The suspect, Roy Cabañez, 26, surrendered to the Cebu City Police Office after the shooting.
SPO3 Rommel Bancog, case investigator, said Biasa and Cabañez were security guards of an establishment that was under construction along General Maxilom Avenue in Cebu City.
But he said the two had an argument over their duty schedules.
One of their colleagues, who identified himself only as Arnold, said the two started arguing past 9 a.m.
