Cops nab woman in Digos City drug buy-bust

DIGOS CITY – Police arrested an 18-year old female in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tres de Mayo here shortly after midnight Friday.

City Police Director Supt. Deozar Almasa said Maegan Emperado Manderico, a resident of Barangay Zone 1 here, was collared around 12:05 a.m. at the Sideway Inn on Sta. Ana Steet.

Almasa said the three pieces of small heat-sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” were confiscated from the suspect.

Authorities said Manderico will undergo drug test before being placed behind bars. /kga
