DID YOU KNOW: NCR is region with 3rd most number of seniors

According to the 2015 Census released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, the National Capital Region ranks third among regions with the highest number of senior citizens.

Of the 7.5 seniors nationwide, NCR accounted for 851,214 or 11.3 percent of the total.

Calabarzon was first with 1 million seniors (13.3 percent), followed by Central Luzon with 879,439 (11.6 percent). —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
