MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake jolted Cagayan on Tuesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its initial earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake was located 27 kilometers (km) west of Calayan, Cagayan at 10:05 p.m.
The earthquake, which had tectonic as its origin, had a depth of 19 km.
Phivolcs added that no aftershocks and damage could be expected from the earthquake. /atm
