MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau is tracking a low pressure area outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
Weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin on Tuesday said the LPA at the eastern side of the Philippines is not likely to turn into a tropical cyclone.
The trough of the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani.
Meanwhile the northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera region and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rain.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather and chances of light rain. /muf
