Cops nab 2 Koreans in Malate drug buy-bust

Police arrested two Korean nationals in a buy-bust operation in Malate, Manila early Wednesday morning.

Operatives of the Malate Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit collared Korean nationals Yunsung Le and Hyun Kisuk in an anti-drug sting around 2:45 a.m. Their alleged cohort identified as Shyrel Tumbali was also arrested.

Police said Hyun Kisuk caused commotion in the area as he resisted arrest.

Recovered from the suspects were a sachet and a canister of suspected “shabu,” a syringe, a strip of aluminium foil with traces of suspected shabu, a toother, and the P200-marked money, according to police.

The suspects are now detained at the Malate Police Station as drug charges are being prepared against them, police added. /kga
