Batanes flights canceled Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines — Airport authorities on Wednesday monitored two local flights that were canceled due to bad weather.


The Manila International Airport Authority said in an advisory that as of 9:20 a.m., the following flights to and from Batanes were called off

M8 816 Manila – Basco
M8 817 Basco – Manila


In a separate advisory, the weather bureau said that the province of Batanes would have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

It also issued a gale force warning in the said province, saying that sea condition would be rough to very rough. Wave height will range from 2.8 meters up to 4.5 meters. /cbb
