Walang Pasok: Class suspensions on Aug. 12

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units have suspended classes on Wednesday, Aug. 12, due to inclement weather brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat.
Classes in the following areas have been suspended:
- Pangasinan
- Lingayen – all levels (public)
- Binmaley – all levels (public and private)
- Mangaldan – all levels (public and private)
- Abra (kindergarten to senior high school)
- Benguet (public and private)

Classes in all levels are also suspended in Abra de Ilog town, Occidental Mindoro as authorities warned of continued high water levels in rivers and waterways amid an orange rainfall warning.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said in a weather advisory that the southwest monsoon is forecast to continue to bring rains over the western sections of the country until Wednesday.
