Two hurt in Valenzuela City factory fire

Two persons were injured after a plastic manufacturing factory in Valenzuela City was hit by fire on Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

The BFP said the two victims suffered minor injuries in the fire that struck the factory along Planters Street in Brgy. Rincon, at 8:32 a.m.

The BFP has yet to identify the victims. According to the BFP, one of the victims bumped his head while the other suffered from burns from dripping molten plastic.

The fire, which reached third alarm, was declared under control by the BFP at 11:03 a.m. Firefighters are still at the site to put it out.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire as well as the amount of damage are still being determined by investigators. /muf
