Pagasa: Metro Manila to have fair weather with isolated thunderstorms on Saturday

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila will have fair weather but with possible isolated thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said on Saturday.


According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain will also be expected in Central Visayas and Eastern Visayas, Pagasa said.

Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Western Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, cloudiness with scattered rain will affect the Caraga Administrative Region and Davao Region.

Pagasa said the rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds. /muf
