BFP: Fire destroys houses in Tondo

A fire broke out at a residential area in Tondo, Manila on Friday evening, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Fire Officer II Darwin Dizon of BFP Manila said the fire hit houses along Zaragosa Street and Delpan Street in Tondo, Manila around 5:44 p.m.

Only a few minutes later, the blaze reached second alarm, the BFP said.

As of posting time, firefighters are still on site to put out the flames.
