MANILA, Philippines — Following the thrilling basketball championship game between University of the Philippines (UP) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), Grab Philippines offered Wednesday free rides to and from Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City.
Dubbed as “Battle of Katipunan,” the UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball had the two universities — both located along Katipunan Avenue — facing each other at the finals.
The Ateneo Blue Eagles bested UP Fighting Maroons in two of three games, and crowned champion of this season’s league. Wednesday’s Game 2 was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
