Suspect dead in Cavite buy-bust
SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed in a shootout in General Trias City, Cavite early Wednesday, police said.
A report from the Calabarzon police office identified the slain suspect as John Paulo delos Reyes, who was included in the list of drug suspects in the village.
The report said police carried out the buy-bust operation at 12:10 a.m. in Barangay Bacao 2.

After selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth), delos Reyes allegedly fired his gun, forcing the policemen to shoot him.

The police rushed him to the Kalayaan Medical Center in the city but he was dead on arrival.
The police recovered a .38 caliber gun and six more sachets of suspected drugs.
