Duterte plucks Lizada from LTFRB, moves her to Civil Service Commission

President Rodrigo Duterte has transferred Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) board member Aileen Lizada to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Duterte signed Lizada’s appointment paper as ad interim Commissioner of the CSC on November 9. But a copy of Lizada’s appointment was only shared to the media on Thursday.

Lizada will replace Robert Martinez and will be interim Commissioner until February 2, 2025.

Lizada was LTFRB’s sole dissenter to the P2-increase in the minimum fare of jeepneys.

Duterte also appointed Carim Panumpang as undersecretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Allan Gepty as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).  /kga
