Fire hits Taguig City residential area

Fire struck a residential area in Taguig City on Friday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.

Fire Officer III Paterno Buncodin told that the fire hit the Tibicai compound in Brgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City.


Firefighters responded to the scene at about 11:58 a.m. The fire reached second alarm at 12:33 p.m., the BFP said.

As of posting time, firefighters are still battling to contain the fire.

The origin of the fire as well as the cost of damage are yet to be determined by the BFP.  /muf
