Flights canceled due to ‘Samuel’ weather

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) on Wednesday monitored two local flights that were canceled due to Tropical Depression “Samuel.”

The Miaa said that as of 8 a.m., four flights to and from Manila had been called off.

As of 7 a.m., Samuel was located 90 kilometers east-southeast of Roxas City, Capiz, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 70 kph.

It was moving west at a speed of 30 kph, the weather bureau said. /cbb
