Trillanes on Duterte: ‘Kulang na lang mag-sando’
“Kulang na lang mag-sando.”
This is how President Rodrigo Duterte disrespects his own office, at least according to his staunch critic, opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
Trillanes made this remark when asked again about Duterte’s failure to attend some events in the recently concluded Asean summit in Singapore because the latter supposedly took a power nap.

“Base sa impormasyon din namin at base sa pagro-profile ay ito lang ay isa pang patunay na itong si Duterte ay physically unfit to fulfill his duties as president of the country,” the senator said in an interview at the Senate on Monday.
(Based on our information and based on profiling, it is just another proof that Duterte is physically unfit to fulfill his duties as president of the country.)
Asked why he was making a big fuss over the issue when other leaders had also not attended some events, Trillanes cited Duterte’s reason for skipping some events at the summit.
“Ang problema kasi sinabi niya nag power nap siya, eh. Yun ang poblema dun. I’m sure yung ibang presidente they had other things to do…” the senator pointed out.
(The problem is that he said he took power naps. That’s the problem. I’m sure the other presidents had other things to do.)
“Kasi pwede ka namang matulog e sa oras ng pagtulog… Talagang ano ito bastos (You can sleep when it’s time to sleep …This is so rude),” he said.

“Nakita niyo lang iyong hitsura naman. Kaka postura lahat ng mga tao dun. They respect their office . Itong tao ito, sa akin na lang, kulang na lang mag sando sya e,” Trillanes went on.
(You saw everybody there. All those people respect their office. This guy could have just worn his undershirt.)
“Ganun siya kabastos at wala ng konsiderasyon sa mga ibang tao. Talagang hindi maganda (He has no consideration for other people. It’s not good),” he further said.
The senator also hit Duterte supposedly for doing nothing aside from giving public speeches.
“Simula ng maupo ito, ang ginawa lang nya ay mag speech ng mag speech. Nagdaldal lang ng nagdaldal , hindi naman gumagawa ng mga programa para gumaan yung buhay ng mga Pilipino, ma-solve yung mga problema ng bayan,” he said.
(Since assuming office, all he did was give speeches and talk. He has not implemented any program that could have uplifted the lives of Filipinos or to solve our country’s problems.)
“Puro mura lang, patawa or matulog so yan. Patulog-tulog (It’s all foul words, clowning, and power naps).” /ee
