LUCENA CITY – A motorcycle rider died in a road accident in Sariaya town in Quezon province Friday night, police said Saturday.
A report from the Quezon police said Rogelio Magadia, 59, was aboard his motorcycle when he collided with an incoming tricycle that went out of its lane in Barangay (village) Pili at around 6 p.m.
Police said Magadia sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Lucena United Doctors Hospital in Lucena City. Police said Magadia died on the way.
Meanwhile police said Froilan de Luna, the tricycle driver fled after the collision. Police said De Lima remains at large as of Saturday morning. /muf
