211 hotels in Boracay now ready to accommodate tourists

A total of 211 hotels and resorts can now accommodate tourists in Boracay after the government approved the accreditation of 19 more hotels and resorts in the island paradise, the Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF) announced Friday.

In a Facebook post, the BIATF issued the updated list of 211 compliant and accredited hotels and resorts, which offers 8,739 available rooms for Boracay visitors.

Last November 7, the BIATF said 192 accommodation establishments have been accredited by the Department of Tourism after securing permits and clearances from the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.  /kga
