Laguna cops seize P600K worth of ‘shabu’ from slain ‘pusher’

SAN PEDRO CITY–An alleged illegal drug pusher was killed in a police operation in Calauan town in Laguna province early on Thursday.

The slain suspect was identified only an alias “Marlon bakla” in a report from the Laguna police office.

Meanwhile, a still unidentified male companion of the suspect managed to escape on board a motorcycle during the gunfight.

The police claimed the suspects opened fire, prompting the authorities to shoot back and kill the suspect in a buy-bust operation around 4 a.m. in Barangay (village) Dayap.

The police recovered about 150 grams of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth around P600,000. /jpv
