DPWH to conduct road repairs, reblocking over the weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road repairs and reblockings starting 11 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 9) until 5 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 12).
In an advisory posted on Friday on the DPWH’s official twitter account, the department advised motorists to avoid the affected areas which include:
Quezon City
1.) EDSA northbound – Before Times Street to before UCCP (1st lane)
2.) EDSA southbound – Scout Albano to after Scout Borromeo (3rd lane from the sidewalk)
Manila City
3.) España Boulevard going to Quiapo, in front of Ramon Magsaysay High School
Pasig City
4.) C-5 road southbound after Lanuza Avenue
5.) C-5 road near SM Aura, 2nd outermost lane
Other roads
6.) Batasan Road from Sinagtala Street to Litex Road (5th lane, northbound)
7.) Mindanao Ave. after Tandang Sora Ave. (truck lane, northbound)
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes as traffic slowdown is expected in the affected areas. /jpv
