6-year-old pupil hurt in Lipa City shooting

A stray bullet hit a six-year-old pupil in a shooting incident in Lipa City on Thursday morning.

The police report stated that two unidentified gunmen aboard a motorcycle shot a man who was standing by the side of the road in Barangay Mabini, Lipa City around 6:30 a.m.

However, the gunmen missed the target and instead hit the six-year-old girl who was on her way to school.

The victim, who was hit on her legs, was brought to Lipa City District Hospital for medical treatment.

Lipa City Police said they have already conducted an investigation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects. /ee
