Motorcycle rider killed in collision with truck in Isabela

CORDON, Isabela – A 24-year-old man was killed when a cargo truck rammed his motorcycle at 9:30 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 5) in Taringsing village here, police said.

The truck, carrying 500 bags of corn, hit the motorcycle, hurling Christian Gamboa towards the road, according to Senior Inspector Frances Littaua, Isabela police spokesperson.

Gamboa was rushed to the Javonillo Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

The cargo truck driver, 30-year-old Charlie Divina of Alicia town, surrendered to the police. VILLAMOR VISAYA JR.
