Fire hits 4 houses in Legazpi City
LEGAZPI CITY — Four houses were damaged by fire that broke out Sunday afternoon in EM’s Barrio in Barangay 2 in this city, a report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
The fire started at around 4 p.m at the Borromeo family residence at Purok 2 of said village and spread to three other neighboring houses, according to SFO4 Aramis Balde, spokesperson of BFP Bicol spokesperson.
The origin of the fire is still unknown.
Balde said the BFP raised the fire alert status to second alarm with four firetrucks from the BFP Legazpi City Station and the city’s Filipino-Chinese Fire Volunteers responding to the incident.
The authorities declared the fire out at around 5:57 p.m.
No was reported hurt in the incident.
Investigation continues to determine extent and cost of damage as of Sunday night. /atm
