Motorcycle rider, 6 others nabbed for murder of woman in Bulacan
HAGONOY, Bulacan – An 18-year-old motorcycle rider and six tricycle passengers were arrested on Wednesday (Oct. 31) for allegedly killing a woman along a road here with rocks over a supposed traffic altercation on Sunday morning (Oct. 28).
But the police said there was no evidence this was a case of road rage and charged the seven men for murdering Malou Victorino, 42, who was in the front passenger seat of their family’s Mitsubishi Adventure that the suspects attacked.
Ezekiel Caparaz, 18, allegedly blocked the vehicle driven by Victorino’s husband with his motorcycle at 2 a.m. on Sunday along San Austin Road and proceeded to smash the Adventure’s windshield and side window, striking Victorino in the head.
He was allegedly joined in the attack by Bryan Balatbat, Dario Dela Cruz, Jose Bernabe, Jeffrey De Leon, Rommel Nabong and Albert Martin, who drove up in two tricycles.
Victorino was rushed by her husband to the Sacred Heart Hospital in the City of Malolos and was later transferred to Quezon City General Hospital, where she died.
