Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde and National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Guillermo Eleazar personally inspected the security in bus terminals in Cubao, Quezon City two days before All Souls’ Day.
Albayalde, Eleazar, along with PNP Spokesperson C/Supt. Benigno Durana Jr. and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director C/Supt. During the inspection, the PNP chief also climbed into a bus to assess the readiness of a driver to make trips, as well as to check on the passengers.
According to Albayalde, the police force is on full alert status as of Wednesday morning, in anticipation of the influx of people paying respects to their deceased relatives. He also said that PNP would pluck 1,000 police officers from the Reserve Force of the Headquarters in Camp Crame. /je
