More airlines have cancelled their flights amid the threat of Typhoon “Rosita” (international name: Yutu) in the country, the Manila International Airport Authorities (Miaa) said on Tuesday.
In an advisory, Miaa said that as of 11 a.m., the following flights have been canceled due to inclement weather:

2P 2196 Manila – Laoag
2P 2197 Laoag – Manila
SkyJet Airlines
M8 816 Manila – Basco
M8 817 Basco – Manila
M8 711 Manila – Busuanga
M8 712 Busuanga – Manila
Prior to this, a number of local and international airline companies have declared their flight cancellations for Tuesday in anticipation of the effects of “Rosita.”

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, as of 7 a.m., Rosita was at the vicinity of Echague, Isabela and traversing towards the province of Ifugao.
It has a maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness up to 230 kph. /muf
