DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila has most HIV cases in August

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in August among all regions.

Of the 1,047 new HIV cases registered nationwide, 31 percent, or 328, were from the National Capital Region followed by Calabarzon with 17 percent, or 173 cases. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
