The countdown for Sister Patricia Fox’s remaining days as a legal visitor in the Philippines has begun.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Sunday that the 59-day period of the temporary visitor’s visa of Fox has begun.
According to an order released by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Friday, Fox only has 59 days to stay in the country as a temporary visitor since the bureau had downgraded her visa.
BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that the downgrade was necessary after Fox’s appeal to extend her missionary visa was denied.
