DAGUPAN CITY — A 26-year-old man was killed on Saturday night when his motorcycle rammed a passenger bus at Alaminos City in Pangasinan province, police said on Sunday.
Michael Bombasi, 26, a resident of neighboring Sual town, was thrown off his motorcycle during the collision in Barangay (village) San Vicente at about 10 p.m.
Police said the bus was cruising on the eastbound lane of the road when the motorcycle suddenly swerved from the westbound lane and struck the bus.
Bombasi and his motorcycle were dragged by the bus for about 30 meters. The bus driver, Eragym Obar, 33, is now under police custody. /je
