In a sea of yellow, with tinges of green and red, supporters of the Oposisyon Koalisyon flocked to the covered court in Barangay Parang, Marikina City, for the presentation of the coalition’s senatorial slate for the 2019 midterm elections.
The presentation will be led by Vice President Leni Robredo, chair of the Liberal Party.

Senatorial candidates are Senator Bam Aquino, lawyer Chel Diokno, Gary Alejano, Samira Gutoc, former Solicitor General Florin Hilbay, election lawyer Romulo Macalintal, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, and Erin Tañada.
Opposition lawmakers were also present, such as Senator Antonio Trillanes, Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo, Quezon City Rep. Kit Belmonte, along with at least 1,000 supporters of the opposition slate.
The Oposisyon Koalisyon is composed of the Liberal Party, Akbayan, Magdalo, Aksyon Demokratiko, Tindig Pilipinas, and other cause-oriented groups. /cbb
