Malacañang vowed on Sunday to “work tirelessly” in addressing national issues as it welcomed the latest survey that showed that majority of Filipinos were satisfied with the performance of the Cabinet.
“Notwithstanding the favorable survey numbers, the members of the official family of the President will not grow complacent in addressing national issues but will continue to work tirelessly as we lay down the foundation of a stronger and more robust society,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a statement, reacting to the survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
According to the survey, the Cabinet had a net satisfaction rating of +32 for the 2018 third quarter study. The study was conducted from September 15-23, 2018.
The SWS noted that this was a one grade higher from the June 2018 survey, from which the Cabinet only had a +25 net rating.

Despite the timing where the survey conducted, Panelo said that the results showed the public still recognizes how the Cabinet members of the Duterte administration work.
The inflation rate of the country hit 6.7 percent in September, the highest recorded in nine years.

“Since the survey was conducted during the month of September when inflation was at 6.7%, the findings tell us that our people, indeed, recognize and appreciate the efforts of the Administration in stabilizing the prices of basic commodities and bringing a comfortable and dignified life for all,” Panelo said. /je
