Power outage to hit parts of Makati due to ‘line construction’ – Meralco

A scheduled power interruption will be imposed on parts of Makati due to “line construction,” The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said on Friday.

In a Twitter post, Meralco said power interruptions will be experienced in Barangay Pinagkaisahan, Makati on Oct. 23 (Tuesday) at 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. because of a line construction along P. Cortez.

It will affect the portion of P. Cortez St. from Honda Street including Abba Condominium in Barangay Pinagkaisahan.

In a separate tweet, Meralco said power outage will also be experienced in Barangay San Isidro between Oct. 24 (Wednesday) at 11:30 and 4:30 a.m. of Oct. 25 (Thursday).

Here are the affected areas:

• Portion of Edison St. from near Faraday St. including Bobcock and Bell streets
• Along Arsonvel St. from Edison St. to Marconi St.
• Portion of Marconi St. from Faraday st.. to near Bobcock St.

The electric company said they will undertake line reconstruction works and installation of lightning protection devices along Edison St. in San Isidro, Makati. /jpv
