Water service interruption to hit parts of QC on Oct. 22-23

The Manila Water Company has announced water service interruptions in parts of Quezon City from Oct. 22 (Monday) at 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. of Oct. 23 (Tuesday).

Here are the affected barangays:

Old Balara

Pasong Tamo

Culiat

Holy Spirit

New Era

Tandang Sora

Sauyo

Manila Water said they would undertake “network improvement works” in various locations along Commonwealth, Luzon and Tandang Sora Avenues in Quezon City.

Manila Water also advised customers to store water during the interruption period.

A traffic scheme will also be implemented along Luzon Avenue from Sampaguita Road to Military Road as heavy traffic will also be expected.

Northbound motorists may take routes in Military Road, AFP Road, Veterans Avenue, Cirrilo Street and Sampaguita Road before proceeding to Luzon Avenue. This traffic rerouting scheme will be imposed up to two weeks after the activity.
