NLEX section in Valenzuela to be closed for overpass construction

A southbound section of the North Luzon Expressway in Valenzuela City will be closed to traffic to make way for the construction of a pedestrian and tricycle overpass.

In a tweet posted on Friday, the NLEX Corporation said 1-kilometer portion of the NLEX in Valenzuela City will be closed from 11 p.m. of October 19 to 4 a.m. of October 20; and again from 11 p.m. of October 20 to 4 a.m. of October 21 give way for the installation of girders on the Mapulang Lupa overpass.

According to the NLEX Corporation, a traffic counter-flow scheme will be implemented during the closure of the affection section of the highway. /muf
