DAGUPAN CITY – The bloodied body of a housewife was found beside a message written in blood inside her room on Thursday night in Villasis, Pangasinan.

Remedios Maer, 54, bore multiple stab wounds when discovered around 7:50 p.m. in barangay (village) Puelay. On the floor, police found the word, “keyung.” It was not clear what the word meant nor how the word was written or who wrote it.

The police have yet to establish why she was attacked.

Earlier at dawn in San Fabian town, 66-year-old Sonny Zamora was found dead in his pedicab along Golea Street, but one of his relatives said he had a heart ailment and may have suffered an attack.   /kga
