President Rodrigo’s youngest son, Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Wednesday for the Davao City vice mayor post in the 2019 midterm elections.

He will be running with his sister, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, who had filed her COC earlier this week, seeking reelection. His sister also accompanied him in filing his candidacy.

“They can expect the kind of leadership the President has taught us. Listen to the people, listen to and address their needs,” she said.

The youngest Duterte is the last of the Duterte siblings to file a COC as his elder brother, former Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte, filed his COC for Davao City 1st District representative in the 2019 elections last week. With a report from Frinston Lim, Inquirer Mindanao/je
