Bongbong Marcos shows support for sister Imee’s Senate bid

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos on Monday accompanied her sister Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos as she seeks a Senate seat in the May 2019 midterm elections.

“I’m here to support. I have to witness the filing of my sister for senator,” Bongbong said in an ambush interview shortly after his arrival at Commission on Elections (Comelec) main office in Intramuros, Manila.

Imee was one of the early birds during the fourth day as she filed her certificate of candidacy for senator under the Nacionalista Party.  /muf
