TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — Conchita Toribio-Delos Reyes, former mayor of Carmen town in Bohol, will try her luck again in the 2019 elections.
Delos Reyes, the chief executive officer and president of beauty products firm Beauche International, filed her certificate of candidacy as representative of the third congressional district of Bohol at the Commission on Elections past 3 p.m. on Monday.
She is running for the same position she ran for in 2016 elections. But she lost to Rep. Arthur Yap.
She said her defeat didn’t kill her desire to run again.
“My ultimate goal is to serve the marginalized sector of the society,” she said.
“I know in my heart, in my mind, this is the time. This is for Che for Congress in 2019. I know God will give the desire of my heart to help other people. I will fight for the people,” she added. /atm
