JV brushes aside political issues with Jinggoy: ‘I’m here to win’

“That’s the least of my concerns, I’m here to win.”

Reelectionist Senator JV Ejercito on Monday made this statement when asked about the political issues between him and half-brother former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, moments before filing his certificate of candidacy (COC) at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Intramuros, Manila.

Jinggoy is also seeking a Senate seat for the May 2019 midterm elections.

Ejercito will run for senator under the Nationalist People’ Coalition (NPC) after leaving Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino – the political party of his father, former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, over a political feud with Jinggoy. /kga
