DAGUPAN CITY — A widow and her son were stabbed and killed by a tricycle driver on Saturday in Infanta town in Pangasinan province, police said on Sunday.

Aida Oiguan, 60, a health worker in Nangalisan village, and her son, Rizaldo Oiguan, 23, died on the way to a rural health unit. Their alleged killer, Joselito Lumapas, 43, fled after the incident.

Oiguan was reportedly paying off a debt in a village store at 4:30 p.m. when Lumapas approached her son, who was in a parked tricycle.
