QUEZON, Isabela – Three men were caught with high-powered guns, ammunition and a hand grenade during police operations conducted in Barangays (villages) Callangigan and Estrada here on Friday, according to a police report.
Joel Abenoja, a 40-year-old farmer residing in Callanguigan; and Kalinga residents Arcenio Antonio and Bacuyag Cawas, who have a house in Estrada, were served with search warrants by police raiding teams.
A fragmentation grenade was discovered in Abenoja’s residence, while an M16 rifle, an M14 rifle and two shotguns were seized from the homes of Antonio and Cawas.
