Gadon arrives at Comelec to formalize senatorial bid

Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) senatorial candidate Atty. Larry Gadon arrived at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) main office in Intramuros, Manila on Friday to file his certificate of candidacy (COC) for the 2019 elections.

Aside from filing an impeachment complaint against ousted Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, Gadon is well-known for his antics, including badmouthing rallyists sympathetic to Sereno.

Recently, Gadon was featured in several short clips and memes.  In his video with young people, he reaffirms that these students are “hindi bobo” (not stupid), in reference to the video where he called Sereno supporters “bobo.”

Prior to his arrival, former Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) General Manager Al Vitangcol and around 20 supporters of Gadon from KBL waited for him.

“Boboto kami kasi hindi kami bobo,” his supporters said. /je
