CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—Eleven suspected drug pushers were killed during two-weeks of police operations in various towns and cities in Bulacan, said Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director.
According to police, Nestor Santos and Melvin Corilan, suspected drug suppliers in Baliwag town were killed in an encounter with police officers at 1:50 a.m. on Thursday (Oct. 11).
At 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 10) in Meycauayan City, a suspect identified only as “Joseph” was killed during a drug bust.
A suspect named “Trikie” was killed in an 11 p.m. police drug bust on Saturday (Oct. 6) in the City of San Jose del Monte.
At 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 4, a suspect identified as “Oliver” was killed in a drug bust at Pulilan town while Ferly Dela Cruz was shot dead in Malolos City at a 10:25 p.m. drug bust operation. Dela Cruz was implicated in the 2015 death of a police asset last 2015 and was tied to the Yamson Group of drug peddlers.
A man named “Deo” meanwhile was shot in San Rafael town during a 3:45 p.m. police operation on Oct. 3 while a suspect named “Eugene” and his unidentified accomplice were killed during an 8:30 p.m. drug bust on October 2.
Suspect Ronaldo De Vera was killed in an encounter with police officers in Sta. Maria town at 5:20 a.m. on Oct. 1.
On the same day, Norman Piga was killed during a police encounter at 1:15 a.m. in Bocaue town.
Police meanwhile arrested 150 suspects in other operations during the same period. /muf
