BAGUIO CITY – A landslide triggered by heavy rains killed a man at 10:25 p.m. on Sunday in Banaue town, in Ifugao province, the Cordillera police said.
The home of 68-year-old widower Felipe Patawon was swept by rocks and mud at Sitio (sub-village) Panalngan in Bocos village. Patawon may have been asleep when the landslide struck.
