A couple in Glasgow, Kentucky, USA, was arrested after police discovered they used a cattle prod to punish their four children, whose ages range from 1 to 12.
Errol and Cheyenne Couch admitted they used the cattle prod—a device used on animals either by poking or striking them—to discipline their children, WBKO reported on Tuesday.
An investigation on the couple began in early August, after the police learned from social services about the form of punishment they were using.
The children were placed in a safe home after Errol and Cheyenne were arrested. Meanwhile, the two turned themselves in following an indictment by a grand jury last week.
Both were charged with criminal child abuse and tampering of physical evidence. They were released on $7,500 (P407,025) bond. Katrina Hallare /ra
