LEGAZPI CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives confiscated P340,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) from an alleged drug peddler at a hotel in Naga City in Camarines Sur province, a PDEA report said Sunday.

Felipe Sabdao, alias “Don,” 32, of Barangay (village) Salugan in Camalig town, Albay province, was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at a hotel in Barangay Mabolo in Naga City around 3 p.m. Saturday, said Christian Frivaldo, acting PDEA Bicol chief.

PDEA agents confiscated from the suspect two pieces of plastic bags containing 50 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P340,000.

Frivaldo, in an interview, said the latest drug seizure brings close to a million (P850,000) worth of shabu seized from 13 high-value target personalities involved in illegal drugs within a week of police operations in Camarines Sur. /je
