PH netizens told: Protect yourselves

“Practice good digital hygiene.”

The National Privacy Commission (NPC) gave this advice to social media users after Facebook revealed that up to 50 million users had been exposed to a data breach.

The NPC said Facebook has not yet determined how many Filipinos were among those with exposed private data in Facebook’s latest breach.

Privacy Commissioner Raymund Liboro said it was not yet clear if any Filipino user’s data had been misused. —Roy Stephen C. Canivel
