MANILA, Philippines — Fifteen people were injured after three public utillity vehicles figured in an accident along the southbound lane of Epifanio De los Santos Avenue-Balintawak, a traffic official said Thursday.
Eddie Maglente of the Quezon City Traffic Bureau said that the vehicles involved in the 10:06 a.m accident were a Victory Liner bus (CWP 2320), and two jeepneys with plate numbers PXL 523 and TXA 459.
He said that all reported injuries were passengers of the jeepneys.
“All of them sustained only minor injuries,” Maglente said in Filipino.
While the complete information on how the incident happened has yet to be determined by the investigator, Maglente said that the bus may have hit the jeepneys from the back, as the bus was damaged on its front, while the jeepney’s were damaged at the back.
As of posting time, Maglente said that the investigator was at the MCU Hospital in Quezon City where all the victims were taken.
