DID YOU KNOW: 153rd birth anniversary of Miguel Malvar

Today, Sept. 27, is the 153rd birth anniversary of Gen. Miguel Malvar.

A farmer and businessman before the revolution, he was among the last generals to surrender to the Americans, having taken command of Filipino forces after the capture of President Emilio Aguinaldo on March 23, 1901.
